Call for Papers – Submission Deadline Extended to June 28
After several requests, we are extending the submission deadline for full and short papers, demonstrations and posters proposals to June 28th at 11:59PM, Hawaii Standard Time. Authors are strongly advised to upload their submissions well in advance of this deadline.
The objective of ICIDS 2013 is to present cutting-edge research and practical implementations, while promoting understanding and dialogue between A.I. researchers, designers, transmedia and digital artists, narratologists and digital game scholars. The organizers of the ICIDS conference have received a couple of queries in relation to the political situation in Turkey. We are closely following the current events through our Istanbul-based organizing committee members. At this point we are confident that the conference will be held as planned. The local host institution, Bahcesehir University, shares this assessment. We will continue to monitor the situation.

We are happy to announce ICIDS 2013 will take place in beautiful Istanbul, Turkey this November 6-9.
The conference is organized by the Games & Narrative research group and (BUG) Bahçeşehir University Game Lab in collaboration with the Turkish Chapter of the Digital Games Research Association (DiGRA)
